The Welder Responsible is for the fabrication of specialized bakery equipment requiring sanitary welds when in contact with food ingredients.
This position has the responsibility of various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
To perform this job successfully an individual must be proficient in TIG and MIG welding of stainless and aluminum materials with a wide range of thickness.
Responsibilities Include:
TIG welding of stainless-steel materials (90%) Analyze and read drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work orders to plan layout, assembly, and welding techniques Position and secure work pieces - clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components, fill holes or indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products Finish grinding application using manual and power tools so that parts are sufficiently free of burrs and sharp edges Clean parts using wire brushes, grinders, or chemical baths Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations The Perks:
