I.
Purpose
Reports to Maintenance Supervisor to maintain and troubleshoot production equipment and auxiliary equipment throughout the plant in such a way that it minimizes down time. Also to cover for techs in other production areas on an as needed basis.
II.
Duties
Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed. Communicate with maintenance supervision when problems arise and direction is needed. Perform preventative maintenance as assigned. Complete assignments as directed by your supervisor. Complete maintenance training courses in a scheduled time line. Develop basic knowledge of Maximo and stock system transactions. Participate in Emergency Brigade training and activities. Be available for on call responsibilities as needed. Be a leader in Safety improvements. Responsible for powerhouse equipment evenings and week ends.Fills in for Techs in other production areas on an as needed basis. Assist in Plant Maintenance activities as directed.

Knowledge
1.
Requirements
Knowledge of general maintenance on industrial machines such as electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
Must be able to read and understand technical drawings and prints.
Must be experienced using maintenance shop equipment.
Basic knowledge of Maximo

Vo-tech school
Two years experience in a plant maintenance atmosphere
High school diploma or equivalent.
Maintenance courses
Maintenance electronic dept.

This person has an important responsibility in keeping the plant up and running.
VI.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk and lift frequently. The employee is also required to work in noisy areas throughout the plant. Must be able to lift 80 pounds.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
